Coral Island: a cozy tropical farm with a whole underwater world
Tired of the city grind? Coral Island opens on exactly that feeling: your character leaves the big city and arrives on a tropical island, where an overgrown, neglected farm is waiting. From there it's all on you β clear the land, plant your first crops, get to know the locals and slowly turn a patch of decay into a thriving homestead. It's a warm, unhurried farming sim from the Indonesian studio Stairway Games (published by Humble Games), often compared to Stardew Valley but with its own identity: a vibrant tropical setting, a culture inspired by Southeast Asia, and a big underwater half.
What you get in this order
This product is the full version of Coral Island β the 1.0 release that launched on November 14, 2023 after a period of early access. It's not a demo, not early access and not an add-on: you get the complete game. The purchase is delivered as a Steam Gift: after payment, our bot adds itself to your friends, sends the gift, and leaves your friends list once delivery is done. Coral Island is then permanently tied to your Steam account β play whenever you like, with updates arriving normally through the client.
What makes Coral Island so absorbing
The game never rushes you. There are no ticking timers or hard objectives forcing your hand β you decide what to do each day. Water and harvest your crops in the morning, go fishing or mining in the afternoon, hit a local festival or a date in the evening. Here are the main things that swallow the hours:
- Farming. Grow dozens of seasonal crops, raise animals, lay out your plot and automate the farm as it grows.
- Town and relationships. The island is home to a large cast of characters with their own stories; you can befriend many of them and romance several, all the way to marriage and family.
- The underwater world. Coral Island's signature feature is diving. You dive to the reefs, clear out debris and restore the coral, and discover the underwater village of the Merfolk along the way.
- Exploration. Mines, fishing, artifact collections and donations to the local museum β the classic "just five more minutes" loop.
- Festivals and culture. The island's holidays and daily life are inspired by Southeast Asian culture, giving the atmosphere a feel that stands apart from typical Western farm sims.
Free updates keep making the game bigger
After release, Stairway Games kept expanding the game with major free updates. The "Land & Sea" update noticeably grew the underwater side: it added a Merfolk kingdom with new characters, underwater farming and ranching, and new romance options. You don't need to buy anything extra β these updates are part of the game itself and download automatically once you own Coral Island.
How the Steam Gift delivery works
The mechanic is simple and asks almost nothing of you. In the order fields you provide your Steam friend invite link and your account region. From there our bot adds itself to your friends (no need to accept the request), sends Coral Island, and removes itself once delivery is complete. The whole thing usually takes a couple of minutes from checkout, though that's not a strict deadline β occasionally it can take a little longer.
Two conditions worth checking in advance
For Steam to accept the gift smoothly, make sure of two things beforehand. First, the region. Your Steam account region must match the gift region, or the system simply won't let you accept it; so pick the option for your region and state it honestly. Second, you must not already own the game. Steam won't let a game be gifted to an account that already has it, so only order for an account without Coral Island. One more thing: friend requests must be allowed in your profile settings, otherwise the bot can't reach you. Steam Guard, on the other hand, is not needed to receive the gift.
If something goes wrong
Failures in services like this are rare, but they happen. The most common reasons the bot can't add you are disabled friend requests or an outdated invite link. If that happens, check your profile privacy settings and send a fresh link β we'll resend it. No passwords or account access are ever required to deliver the gift.
Who Coral Island is for
If you're into cozy farms and life sims where you can sink into an evening without stress, Coral Island is a great pick, especially for that unusual underwater half. Love the genre? Check out our other warm titles too: Stardew Valley β the genre benchmark many people start with; Sun Haven β a farm with RPG and fantasy elements; My Time at Sandrock β crafting and building in a post-apocalyptic desert. They're all about the same satisfying feeling β slowly building your own little world.
