City Car Driving 2.0 isn't about racing or drifting for the camera. The game grew out of the well-known City Car Driving trainer that whole generations used to prep for driving school and simply get a feel for a car's size and pedals. Version 2.0 is a fresh build on a modern engine: reworked physics, an open region instead of a set of separate maps, and noticeably smarter AI traffic.

What the game is and why it clicks
City Car Driving 2.0 is a driving simulator built around the feel of a real road rather than top speed. You take the wheel in an open region and drive the city by actual rules: road markings, signs, traffic lights, right-of-way at junctions. The AI traffic behaves like a real flow — cars change lanes, brake for pedestrians — and you learn to read the situation ahead of time. Dynamic weather adds what arcade games lack: braking distances stretch on wet asphalt, rain and dusk cut visibility, and you have to drive more carefully.
Physics is the heart of it. Different cars behave differently — mass, acceleration, braking and cornering all change, and you feel it through the wheel. Gamepads and racing wheels are supported, and so is VR for full immersion. Early Access: what's in and what's coming
City Car Driving 2.0 launched in Early Access on June 16, 2026. That matters: you get a playable build, but the project is still growing. At launch there's an open region with traffic, weather and driving physics — a complete gameplay core already. Modes like taxi work, cargo delivery and a full driving school are planned by the developer (Forward Development) as development continues. The studio estimates roughly 1–2 years in Early Access and notes the price may rise over time. How the gift works and what to keep in mind
We deliver City Car Driving 2.0 as a Steam Gift. We need two things from you: your Steam friend invite link and your account region. The rest is on our bot: it adds itself to your friends, sends the gift, and automatically leaves once delivered. You don't need to accept the friend request manually, and Steam Guard isn't required. Delivery usually takes a couple of minutes after checkout.
To keep it smooth, remember three things. First, your Steam account region must match the gift region, or Steam simply won't let you accept it.
