City Car Driving 2.0 β the city sim where you actually learn to drive
City Car Driving 2.0 isn't about racing or drifting for the camera. It's a car simulator that puts you behind the wheel in a living city: surrounding traffic obeys the rules, you genuinely have to yield at intersections, pedestrians cross the road, and the weather changes grip and visibility. The game grew out of the well-known City Car Driving trainer that whole generations used to prep for driving school and simply get a feel for a car's size and pedals. Version 2.0 is a fresh build on a modern engine: reworked physics, an open region instead of a set of separate maps, and noticeably smarter AI traffic.
Here you're not buying a key β you're getting a Steam Gift: the game arrives straight on your account through our bot, with nothing to activate by hand. Below is what the game includes, how the gift delivery works, and what to watch for so everything goes smoothly.
What the game is and why it clicks
City Car Driving 2.0 is a driving simulator built around the feel of a real road rather than top speed. You take the wheel in an open region and drive the city by actual rules: road markings, signs, traffic lights, right-of-way at junctions. The AI traffic behaves like a real flow β cars change lanes, brake for pedestrians β and you learn to read the situation ahead of time. Dynamic weather adds what arcade games lack: braking distances stretch on wet asphalt, rain and dusk cut visibility, and you have to drive more carefully.
Physics is the heart of it. Different cars behave differently β mass, acceleration, braking and cornering all change, and you feel it through the wheel. Gamepads and racing wheels are supported, and so is VR for full immersion. By design the difficulty scales from beginner to confident driver, so it suits both people prepping for a real driving test and those who just enjoy calm, realistic driving.
Early Access: what's in and what's coming
City Car Driving 2.0 launched in Early Access on June 16, 2026. That matters: you get a playable build, but the project is still growing. At launch there's an open region with traffic, weather and driving physics β a complete gameplay core already. Modes like taxi work, cargo delivery and a full driving school are planned by the developer (Forward Development) as development continues. The studio estimates roughly 1β2 years in Early Access and notes the price may rise over time. If City Car Driving has always been your go-to for practicing and unwinding behind the wheel, you can jump in now knowing more content is on the way.
How the gift works and what to keep in mind
We deliver City Car Driving 2.0 as a Steam Gift. We need two things from you: your Steam friend invite link and your account region. The rest is on our bot: it adds itself to your friends, sends the gift, and automatically leaves once delivered. You don't need to accept the friend request manually, and Steam Guard isn't required. Delivery usually takes a couple of minutes after checkout.
To keep it smooth, remember three things. First, your Steam account region must match the gift region, or Steam simply won't let you accept it. Second, the account must not already own the game β you can't accept a gift for a title you already have, and that's the number-one reason deliveries fail. Third, your profile settings must allow friend requests, otherwise the bot can't reach you. If something goes wrong (the bot didn't add you, the link expired), just send a fresh invite link and we'll retry.
Who it's for
City Car Driving 2.0 is for people who want to drive, not to win. Prepping for a driving test and want to get used to a car's size and mirrors β perfect. Love a meditative city drive with rain on the glass β also here. A sim fan who has already logged hours in civilian car sims and wants a fresh project with living traffic β you'll enjoy the 2.0 approach.

Buying in short
You get City Car Driving 2.0 as a gift straight to your Steam, with no manual key activation. Enter your invite link and account region, pay, and accept the gift a couple of minutes later. Just remember the region must match and the game must not already be in your library. After that β take the wheel and get used to the city.
