Chained Together β€” Steam Gift

About the game

Chained Together is a co-op platformer about escaping hell, where up to four players are literally bound by one chain and climb vertical levels together. One bad jump and you drag each other into the abyss, so teamwork is everything (yes, it tests friendships). A solo mode is available too. You get the full game as a Steam gift to your account.

Once the gift is delivered it cannot be refunded. If Steam rejects the gift due to region mismatch, the full amount is returned to your site balance.
Available items are processed automatically. Any issues will be resolved starting from 9:00 MSK.

Your Steam account region must match the gift region, and you must not already own Chained Together. Pick the option for your region.

FAQ

Chained Together: a chained co-op escape from hell

Chained Together is a co-op platformer by Anegar Games, released on June 19, 2024. The premise is simple and cruel: up to four players are bound by a single chain and dropped at the very bottom of hell. To escape, you have to climb upward through vertical levels β€” and the chain never lets you stray more than a few meters from each other. One player slips off a ledge and drags the whole team back into the abyss. This is where both legendary comebacks and loud voice-chat arguments are born.

What kind of game it is

It's a game about trust, timing and nerves. Jumps have to be coordinated almost to the second: while one player grabs a ledge, the others can't yank the chain downward. Levels run vertically, checkpoints are sparse, and a mistake means a long climb back. The controls stay readable and fair β€” whatever happens to you is a result of your jump and the chain physics, not the game cheating you.

Co-op and solo

The main mode is cooperative: two to four people on one chain. Bring a full squad or run it as a duo β€” the dynamic shifts a lot. There's also a single-player mode for learning the ropes without anyone else's mistakes, but the game's true character shines in co-op. Controllers are supported, so you can settle in with a gamepad.

What the gift includes

You're buying the full Chained Together game β€” this is the base version, with no separate DLC required to play. We deliver it as a Steam gift: the game arrives straight to your account and there's no activation code to enter β€” you just accept the gift in Steam.

How we deliver the gift

Delivery goes through our bot. You provide your Steam friend invite link and your account region. The bot adds itself to your friends, sends the gift, and automatically leaves your friends list after delivery β€” no need to accept the request manually. The whole process usually takes a couple of minutes from checkout. Steam Guard is not required, and neither is owning other games or having any account activity.

Region and key conditions

Steam will only accept the gift under two conditions. First: your account region must match the gift region, so enter your region honestly. Second: Chained Together must not already be in this account's library β€” a gift can't be accepted onto a game you already own. Also allow friend requests in your profile settings, otherwise the bot can't reach you.

If something goes wrong

The most common causes of a delay are blocked friend requests or an expired invite link. In that case, allow friend requests in your settings and generate a fresh s.team/p/... link β€” delivery goes through after that. Failures are rare, as with any service like this, and we do our best to fix them quickly.

Why people get hooked

Chained Together didn't blow up by accident: it peaked at over 85,000 concurrent players and holds around 90% positive reviews. The secret is its simple but vicious formula β€” one chain for everyone. Every run turns into a little drama: one moment you pull the team out of a hopeless spot in perfect sync, the next a single lapse sends everyone into free fall. It's perfect material for streams and group calls, which is exactly why the game spread so fast through clips and videos.

Tips for newcomers

Agree on roles: let one person set the pace and call out when to jump while the others sync up. Don't rush upward in reckless bursts β€” short, measured jumps are safer than one heroic leap. Keep the chain in view; its tension tells you who's in a vulnerable spot right now. And settle in advance that falling is normal and funny, not a reason to start arguing β€” that's how more teams (and friendships) make it to the finish.

Hardware and Steam Deck

The game is light and runs fine on ordinary PCs, and since it's a full Steam release you can take it on Steam Deck too. Once the gift lands in your library, you install Chained Together like any other Steam game β€” no separate launchers or codes involved.

What else to play with friends

If Chained Together clicked for you, check out other co-op party games in our catalog: Human: Fall Flat with the same goofy physics, the chaotic Gang Beasts, and the party game Pummel Party that's also great at ending friendships. All three are about laughing and failing together.
