Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) is Infinity Ward's reboot of the iconic sub-series: a gritty adult campaign, responsive multiplayer and co-op Special Ops. You get the full game as a Steam gift sent straight to your account — the bot friends you, delivers the gift and leaves, no Steam Guard needed.

What's in the Standard Edition

This is the base edition of the full game — no previously purchased version is required to activate it. It includes everything that makes Modern Warfare a complete package:

  • Single-player campaign — a dark, adult story following Captain Price, Sgt. "Gaz", Kyle Garrick and Farah's operatives, with missions like "Clean House" and "Highway of Death" that question the cost of war.
  • Multiplayer — signature modes (Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Search and Destroy), large-scale 64-player Ground War and the intimate 2v2 Gunfight.
  • Special Ops (Co-op) — cooperative PvE operations for a squad that continue the story after the campaign.

The Operator and Operator Enhanced editions originally added starter cosmetic packs and battle passes — those were time-limited cosmetic extras and don't affect the base gameplay. The Standard Edition gives you the complete game.

Why Modern Warfare 2019 still holds up

The game runs on the IW 8.0 engine with photoreal lighting, destructible cover and tactile gunplay. Shooting feels heavy and believable: recoil, reloads and optic mounting are all hand-animated. The campaign isn't afraid to show the uncomfortable side of war, and the multiplayer remains one of the most responsive in the series. Play it for the story and you get one of the strongest Call of Duty singles in years; play it for PvP and you get the base the modern meta grew from.

How a Steam gift differs from a key

Unlike an activation code, a gift arrives directly in Steam. You don't type anything into an activation window — our bot adds you as a friend, sends the gift, then leaves on its own. You don't need to accept anything manually. Steam Guard is not required to receive the gift. The key condition: your Steam account region must match the gift region, and you must not already own the game (Steam won't let you accept a gift for a game already in your library).

Which regional variant to pick

The card lists several Standard Edition options that differ by their set of supported Steam regions (for example a pool of 47, 39 or 27 countries). Pick the one whose list includes your account's region. Not sure? Open Steam → "Account details" and check your store country. A region mismatch is the most common reason Steam refuses a gift, so verify it in advance.
