Burglin' Gnomes is a co-op action game by studio Fobri, released on Steam on June 10, 2026. You play as a tiny gnome who sneaks into ordinary people's houses under cover of night and hauls off anything you can carry: dishes, tools, furniture, knick-knacks off the shelves. To a gnome a house is a huge, dangerous maze where even the family cat becomes a deadly threat and a vacuum cleaner or a mousetrap can end the run in a single second. What Burglin' Gnomes is about
The premise is simple and charmingly absurd: the High-Gnome hands out orders and you and your crew fulfil them — haul a set amount of loot out of the houses and drag it back to your burrow. The gameplay is built around stealth and interacting with the environment: you hide from the homeowners, slip past traps, find detours through cracks and vents, and carry bulky objects together with two or three gnomes. The loot is put to use — you craft gear from it, build functional furniture and upgrade your home gnome base.
Co-op for up to six gnomes
Co-op is the heart of Burglin' Gnomes. It supports online play for up to six people: you plus five friends. Solo is possible too, but the full chaos shines in a group — one of you distracts the homeowner, another drags a stolen toaster across the room, someone gets caught in a mousetrap while everyone laughs. The game supports Steam Cloud and Family Sharing and is localized into about a dozen and a half languages. At launch Burglin' Gnomes earned a “Very Positive” rating and quickly drew thousands of concurrent players — the kind of solid co-op hit that whole friend groups buy at once.
