Brick Rigs: build it, drive it, smash it to pieces
Brick Rigs is a physics-driven building sandbox where you construct any vehicle out of bricks and immediately put it through a living destruction simulation. Build a fire truck and race to the scene, assemble a fighter jet and start a dogfight, or bolt together something completely absurd just to see how it falls apart at speed. There's no โrightโ way to play: you decide who to be and what to build. This product is the full version of the game for Steam, delivered as a Steam gift.
What the game is
Brick Rigs is developed by Fluppisoft GmbH. It entered Early Access back in November 2016 and grew alongside its community for almost eight years before reaching its full 1.0 release on July 14, 2023. Along the way it earned โoverwhelmingly positiveโ reviews and a huge fanbase that shares builds daily. At its core is a detailed editor: you connect bricks and modules, add motors, wheels, wings, weapons and control logic, and the physics honestly handles the mass, grip and deformation of every part.
Why it's so addictive
The real magic of Brick Rigs is in the destruction. Every contraption reacts to impacts and stress: it bends, breaks and scatters into individual bricks. That makes the game equally great as an engineering toy and as a playground for epic crash tests. You can:
- build cars, planes, tanks, boats and wild hybrids;
- run races, cops-vs-robbers chases and aerial duels;
- stress-test your builds in spectacular crashes;
- role-play on community servers alongside other players.
Single-player, multiplayer and Workshop
Brick Rigs has a relaxed single-player mode for creativity and an online multiplayer where dozens of players gather for shared chaos, racing and roleplay. Through Steam Workshop you get access to thousands of community builds โ from accurate replicas of real cars to giant flying fortresses. Download others' creations, take them apart, improve them and publish your own.
What this product includes
You're buying the full (standard) version of Brick Rigs โ the game has no separate paid editions or DLC, so there's nothing extra to overpay for. All of the game's content, the editor and Steam Workshop access unlock as soon as the game lands in your library. The cosmetic items in the Steam Points Shop are a Steam platform perk and are unrelated to buying the game.
How the gift delivery works
We deliver Brick Rigs as a Steam gift through a bot. You only need to provide two things: your Steam friend invite link and your account region. Everything else happens almost hands-free: the bot adds itself as your friend, sends the gift, and automatically leaves your friends list after delivery. You don't need to accept any friend request manually. Delivery usually takes a couple of minutes from checkout.
Important conditions for the gift
For Steam to accept the gift, a few simple conditions must line up. First, your Steam account region must match the gift region โ so enter your region accurately. Second, Brick Rigs must not already be in that account's library: you can't gift a game the account already owns, and that's the most common reason a gift fails. Third, your profile privacy settings must allow friend requests. Steam Guard, however, is optional โ the gift will arrive without it.
System requirements and platforms
This is the Steam (PC, Windows) version. The game runs on a wide range of setups โ even modest machines handle it comfortably, and the large community means plenty of guides and ready-made builds. Keyboard and mouse feel best, though many players use a gamepad too. Console versions of Brick Rigs are not delivered here โ this product is specifically for Steam.
Similar games in our catalog
If you love the idea of building machines and physically wrecking everything around you, check out these related sandboxes. Space Engineers is about engineering and building ships in space, Teardown is about voxel destruction and clever heists, and Trailmakers is about assembling block vehicles and going on adventures. All three pair perfectly with Brick Rigs if you're into builders and physics.
Is it worth it
Brick Rigs is a great pick if you enjoy inventing vehicles, experimenting and watching it all work (and spectacularly come apart). It's an endless sandbox with no rigid goals: you sit down for five minutes to โtest a little carโ and lose the whole evening. Place the gift, accept it in Steam, and the game is yours.
