Backrooms: Escape Together launched into Steam Early Access on October 18, 2022. It's a procedural horror: levels are generated fresh, so the route out is different every run. The game ships with several polished levels and the developers keep adding more — their Early Access plan spans years, aiming for 20–30 refined locations by full release. Genre-wise it's a blend of action, adventure and casual horror: not a hardcore suffering simulator, but a cozy scare for an evening with friends.
