Assassin's Creed Mirage — Steam Gift

About the game

Assassin's Creed Mirage brings the series back to its stealth roots. Ninth-century Baghdad, the thief Basim and his path into the Hidden Ones. You receive the game as a Steam Gift: the bot adds you, sends the gift and leaves. No key, no Steam Guard, account region = gift region.

Once the gift is delivered it cannot be refunded. If Steam rejects the gift due to region mismatch, the full amount is returned to your site balance.
Available items are processed automatically. Any issues will be resolved starting from 9:00 MSK.

Your account region must match the gift region, and you must not already own the game. Pick your region option.

FAQ

Assassin's Creed Mirage: a return to stealth and old Baghdad

If you've followed the series over the last few years, you've watched Assassin's Creed grow into sprawling RPGs with dozens of hours of leveling. Mirage is a deliberate step back to where it all began. Developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux, it's a game about one person, one city and one craft: sneak in close, strike from the shadows and vanish into the crowd. Rooftops, alleys, the hidden blade and patience matter again — not your gear score. The game launched on October 5, 2023, and with us you can buy it as a Steam gift — it arrives straight into your library, with no keys and no manual activation.

Ninth-century Baghdad and Basim

The story takes place in Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age — when the city was one of the centers of the world. You play as Basim Ibn Ishaq, a street thief whose path leads him into the ranks of the Hidden Ones, the forerunners of the Assassin Brotherhood, and into conflict with the Order of the Ancients. Valhalla players will recognize this character, but Mirage tells his early story, before everything that came later. The city here isn't just a backdrop: living districts, markets, guards and a crowd that's easy to disappear into all serve both the atmosphere and the stealth at once.

How Mirage differs from other entries

The biggest difference is scale and focus. Instead of a hundred-hour open world, you get a compact, densely packed city where every district is built for stealth. The wanted system returns: you can be spotted, have posters put up, raise the guards — and you'll have to lower attention by bribing town criers or tearing down notices. Combat is simpler and faster than in the RPG entries: Mirage doesn't reward head-on fights, it rewards planning, assassin tools and the strike from stealth. This is a game about a master of stealth, not a warrior with a damage bar.

Assassin tools and approach

Basim leans on the classic stealth-killer toolkit, and that's where the game opens up:

  • the hidden blade and silent takedowns from cover and from above;
  • gadgets like smoke bombs, throwing knives and traps to distract guards;
  • eagle vision and a bird companion for scouting the area;
  • rooftop parkour, the crowd and hay bales as ways to break contact and shake a chase.

What's valued here isn't a head-on body count but a clean run, where you clear a guarded zone without anyone ever noticing you.

Which editions are available

The catalog may have several versions of Mirage, and the difference between them is honest — it's extra content, not "early access to the game."

  • Standard Edition — the full base game with nothing cut: the whole story, all of Baghdad, every stealth mechanic. Just want the game — take this version.
  • Deluxe Edition — adds a Prince of Persia-themed pack (weapon and cosmetics), plus the soundtrack and a digital artbook. It doesn't affect the story or progression — it's about looks and nice extras.
  • Master Assassin Edition — the most complete version: the base game, the Deluxe set and several more bonus packs on top. This is for players who want the maximum right away without buying packs separately. No story chapters are locked behind this edition — the main campaign is identical across all versions.

How you receive the game: a Steam gift, not a key

This is worth understanding before buying. Mirage is delivered as a Steam gift, not an activation code you enter yourself. After payment our bot contacts you: it adds you as a friend on Steam, sends the game as a gift, and leaves your friends list once delivery is done. The friend request comes from the bot — you don't need to send anything to anyone yourself; instead, wait for the incoming request. You don't need to disable Steam Guard to receive the gift, and nobody asks for your account login or password: the bot works only with the public invite link. All that's left is to accept the incoming gift.

Lot region, library check and refunds

The gift is region-bound: your Steam account region must match the lot region (it shows through the lot's currency). This is Steam's standard rule for gifts, and it's worth keeping in mind when choosing an offer. The second condition is that the receiving account must not already own the game — Steam won't let you gift a title someone already has. If the region doesn't match or you already own it, the order value returns to your Brawl Games balance, and you can reorder the correct lot from it. It also matters that your profile settings allow friend requests, otherwise the bot can't reach you.

Who Mirage is for

This entry is for anyone who misses old-school Assassin's Creed: social stealth, climbing minarets and synchronizing, the feeling of being invisible in a crowd. If RPG depth and a world where every choice carries weight are more your thing, Mirage will read as a compact adventure rather than an endless RPG — and that's its strength. It's the purest Assassin's Creed in a long time, played not for the numbers but for the atmosphere of one great city.

Payment, site account and promo codes

You can pay from Russia and the CIS with the usual methods right on the site. You don't have to create a separate account to buy — just place the order and fill in the delivery fields. If a discount applies, you'll see it on the checkout page; we don't promise offers that don't exist. Any question about your Assassin's Creed Mirage order can go to the site chat.

What to pick up next

If it's the story and atmosphere of Mirage that got you, you can keep the evening going with a big narrative. Look at Baldur's Gate 3 — a sweeping story-driven RPG where freedom of choice and the consequences of your decisions take center stage; after Basim's focused adventure it's the other pole — a huge world, a party of companions and dozens of branching paths. And if you'd rather decide what to buy next yourself without being tied to one game, grab a Steam wallet top-up: load the balance and buy anything you want inside Steam, from new releases to seasonal sales and add-ons for your favorite series. Both are as easy to order from us as the gift itself.
