ARK: Survival Ascended โ dinosaur survival on Unreal Engine 5
ARK: Survival Ascended is a full reimagining of the cult survival game by Studio Wildcard and Snail Games, rebuilt on Unreal Engine 5. You wake up stranded on a mysterious island with nothing: first gather stone and wood, light a fire and survive the night. From there it's taming dinosaurs, raising bases, forming tribes and exploring a living, breathing world with next-gen weather, water and lighting. At Brawl Games you buy the full game as a Steam gift that our bot delivers straight to your Steam.
Which version this is and how it differs from Survival Evolved
Ascended isn't a DLC โ it's a standalone game: a ground-up UE5 remaster of the original ARK: Survival Evolved. Graphics, lighting, water and physics are brought up to modern standards, while the classic maps and systems are reworked. The base version includes the starting map The Island; the other legendary maps and story expansions are released over time and bought separately inside the game. It launched on Steam on October 25, 2023 and keeps evolving in early access, with content and maps added over time.
What's in the gift
- Full base game ARK: Survival Ascended (Steam).
- The Island starting map and the core systems: crafting, taming, building, tribes.
- Solo play, co-op and official/private servers.
Story expansion packs (such as Genesis) and extra maps are separate in-game purchases โ they are not part of the base gift and aren't sold here, so treat this listing as the standalone base experience plus everything that ships with it.
How we deliver the Steam gift
Delivery goes through the FZR supplier bot. You provide a Steam friend invite link and your account region, place the order โ and the bot adds itself as a friend, sends the gift and automatically leaves your friends list once it's delivered. You don't need to accept the friend request, and Steam Guard is not required to receive the gift. Delivery usually takes a couple of minutes from checkout.
Region and ownership โ the two key conditions
A Steam gift has two rules worth checking in advance. First: your Steam account region must match the gift region โ otherwise Steam simply won't let you accept it, so pick the variant for your region. Second: the account must not already own ARK: Survival Ascended โ you can't accept a gift for a game you already have. With both conditions met, delivery goes smoothly.
Taming and tribes โ the heart of ARK
The core of the series is intact: you can tame dinosaurs and other creatures to use as mounts, pack carriers, combat pets and base defense. On UE5 the animations and creature behaviour feel more alive, and hunting a large predator turns into a small operation โ you have to knock the target out, wait out the taming process and keep it from escaping or dying. Forming tribes unlocks shared building, common storage and large-scale PvP wars on official servers, while in single-player all your progress stays entirely yours.
Solo, co-op and servers
ARK: Survival Ascended flexes to your playstyle. Want to explore the island calmly at your own pace โ play solo with adjustable rules and progression speed. Prefer company โ spin up a private server for friends or join official ones, where PvE and PvP modes deliver very different experiences: from peaceful building to all-out tribe wars over resources and territory. Crossplay with consoles and mod support via the built-in CurseForge catalog seriously extend the game's lifespan.
System requirements and platform
Ascended is noticeably heavier than the original because of Unreal Engine 5 โ plan for a modern GPU and plenty of RAM, especially on large maps packed with structures. This is the PC Steam version; it can run on Steam Deck and Linux, but comfort depends on your settings given the demanding graphics. If in doubt, compare your PC specs with the recommended requirements on the game's Steam page before buying.
