What the game is
A Little to the Left launched on November 8, 2022. It was developed by Max Inferno and published by Secret Mode. It's a meditative puzzle game about order and symmetry, with warm hand-drawn art and a relaxed pace. No timers, no fail states — you simply drag things around until the arrangement clicks into place. It sold nearly a million copies in its first year and earned warm reviews precisely for its atmosphere; plenty of players pick it up just to unwind after a long day.
How the puzzles work
Each level is a little scene: a shelf, a drawer, a windowsill, a handful of household odds and ends. Your job is to tidy it. Simple on paper, but the game keeps playing with your expectations:
- Multiple solutions. Some puzzles don't have a single right answer but several — a star system hints at how many arrangements you've yet to find.
- Gentle hints. If you're stuck, you can nudge yourself toward a direction without losing the feeling that you cracked it yourself.
- The daily tidy. A daily mode serves a fresh little puzzle each day — a nice excuse to drop in for a couple of minutes.
What's in this product
You get the full base game of A Little to the Left — enough to play through all the core content. The game has separate add-ons that are not part of this gift and are bought separately: Cupboards & Drawers (released June 27, 2023, with 25 new cupboard- and drawer-themed puzzles) and Seeing Stars (released June 25, 2024). The base game doesn't need them — they're simply extra level packs for when you want more.
How we deliver the gift
Delivery goes through Steam Gift. You provide your Steam friend invite link and your account region, place the order, and our bot adds itself as a friend and sends the gift, usually within a couple of minutes. You don't need to accept the friend request, Steam Guard is not required, and once it's delivered the bot removes itself automatically. All that's left is to click “Accept Gift” and the game appears in your library.
Important about region and library
Two conditions, without which Steam won't let you accept the gift. First, your Steam account region must match the gift region — so enter your account region accurately at checkout. Second, you must not already own the game: Steam won't let you accept a gift for a title that's already in your library. Also make sure incoming friend requests are allowed in your profile settings, otherwise the bot can't add you. The game itself requires no prior activity or ownership of anything else on the account.
Where to play it
A Little to the Left shipped on Windows and macOS, and its calm drag-and-drop gameplay is a great fit for Steam Deck and couch play. The gift lands in your normal Steam library, so the platform is your call. This is an intimate game not about reflexes but about attention and care — comfortable to play in short sessions.
